Stock Management -Compiles with the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003. OBO (consignment) vehicles are catered for. Stock can be 'grouped' into different groups. Common example of this is wholesale and retail stock. Fast vehicle and customer data searches. User defined optional data fields are available.

Buying Vehicles -Entering new vehicles is a breeze. Pre-sets for such things as makes, models, fuel types, body styles etc aid to a speedy data entry. Typing is keep to the barest minimum. Once entered it is very easy to print window and SIN cards. Prints purchase agreements and OBO consignment agreements.

Reconditioning - Dealer.NZ stores reconditioning expenses for each vehicle. Supplier lists can be maintained to speed entry and record purchases against the same. Can be entered as estimated in the first instance. Handles items with or without GST. Prints reconditioning reports for individual vehicle and full supplier reports. Orders for reconditioning can be generated which can be printed or emailed.

Stock Lists - Users can define stock lists to different layouts. View on screen, print, email or fax. Can be save in HTML (Web page) or PDF format. Include vehicle pictures and custom headings.

Customers - A customer database is maintained for both vendors and purchasers. When entering customer details whether buying or selling, a repeat customer can be selected from the customer list. Letters and labels can easy generated using the customer lists for such things as retention letters and birthday cards.

Reporting - Dealer.NZ contains a wide range of reports. All reports can be previewed on screen. Can be save as HTML(Web pages) or PDF format. Certain data can be displayed (and printed) as graphs.

Word Processing - Contains a full functional built-in word processor with spell checker. Design your own letterheads. Insert pictures into documents. Documents can be saved in Microsoft Word format. Also save in HTML (Web page) and PDF format. Ability to fax or Email direct from word processor. Complete mail merge system built-in.

Importing Vehicles - Special facility for importing used vehicles. Costings are auto calculated including overseas currencies. Handles irregular GST amounts. Adds notional GST to balance GST on sale to avoid accidental losses.

Exporting Data - Selected data from Dealer.NZ can be exported to text, Microsoft Access and Excel files. Automated web site exporting to all major Web Listers, such as goauto.co.nz, autobase.co.nz.

User-Friendly - Grant-Day software is renowned for being easy to use and user-friendly even for beginners. Menus function in the same fashion as familiar web pages. Fast data entry with the minimum of typing. Help is only one key press away with extensive online help and manual.

Selling Vehicles - Prints various sale agreements forms including 'plain paper'. In addition, agreements can be designed to your own requirements and printed on 'plain paper'. Prints wholesale agreements, account to principle(OBO) and tax invoices. Sales are logged against each salesperson.

Finance & Insurance - Dealer.NZ has a sophisticated built-in finance calculator that allows for accurate finance calculations of all major finance companies in accord with the Credit Contracts and Consumers Finance Act 2003. Where applicable Dealer.NZ can print your finance company HP contracts. In addition, contracts can be designed to your own requirements and printed on 'plain paper'. MTF Direct connectivity. Tracks and reports on all CCI and finance sales.

Quotations -With Dealer.NZ you can prepare and save quotes for intending customers. These can be printed or email. Quotes can be transferred into sales to save on re-entering information. Use the built-in finance calculator and budgeting tools to quickly quote repayments. Trade-in appraisals can by printed and saved.

Profitability -By using the 'what if' margin calculator, profitability of each vehicle can be analysed. Budget you're fixed expenses and include these as 'yard fees' for each vehicle. Tracks customer unpaid balances. Write-backs are catered for. Can report on finance and CCI commissions.

Internet -Automated web site updating for all major Web Listers, such as goauto.co.nz, autobase.co.nz. Send data and pictures on scheduled basis without user intervention. Direct link to Grant-Day web site. Integration with third parties such as MTF and MotorWeb. Access favourite web sites direct from Dealer.NZ. Built-in Email services. Receive Dealer.NZ updates via the Internet.

Pictures - Dealer.NZ has a unique built-in database that especially stores digital pictures. Pictures never get lost! Assign up to 20 digital pictures to each vehicle. Direct image importing from cameras or scanners. Contains a picture gallery to display pictures and 'for sale' slide show display.

Connectivity - Dealer.NZ connects with other Grant-Day Software. Load finance deals with one click to VersaCred (our finance company software). Transfer outstanding customer balances to QuickState (our debtor software package) for monthly billing.

Security - The program allows for a 'key person' to have full rights and control. A multi-level password system allows the 'key person' to restrict certain areas of the program to other selected users. A very comprehensive Back-up system is employed consisting of a daily back-up to hard disk is automatically performed when the program is first accessed for that day. This requires no user intervention. Each back-up is retaining for 30 days. Also a back-up for each and every month is stored indefinitely (Unless the file is accidentally removed or hard disk failure). Plus the program will automatically prompt the user to back-up on to a floppy disk or CD (recommended)every week on a four weekly rotational basis and in addition also a monthly disk.
